Title: Another picture with a cheap scope and Infinity
Post by: elpajare on December 23, 2016, 12:09:28 pm
This camera does miracles!

The scope is a 80/400 refractor, non APO and very simple.

Great results! And it's really good to see what you can achieve with a cheaper scope, I hope it's helping more people enjoy VA  :)

Hi,
I saw your pictures taken using a skywatcher and Infinity camera. They are amazing.
I have a question on the setup of the infinity camera and the optical train on your skywatcher telescope.
If you can let me know how you have setup the components on your telescope it will help me in setting up my configuration.
I am trying to setup infinity at prime focus but I cannot get focus on my 4 inch skywatcher refractor. I am not using any other part but just attaching the infnity camera into the focusser tube.
No matter how much I draw the tube out I cannot get focus!

Am I doing any thing incorrectly?
You response is appreciated.
regards
Gattu

I have used a 7 + 3 cm extension to get focus with the Infinity.
