Title: Atik Infinity OSC and Dark Frames...
Post by: SonnyE on July 25, 2017, 05:01:06 pm
I'm working with a OSC Infinity and getting some of the most amazing images of my short experience.
A Friend suggested taking Dark Frames to stack with the Infinity images to remove hot pixels.
I'm... reluctant... because the idea was to get away from conventional Post Processing and simplify. Which this camera has done an amazing job of.

I had a thought, what if I was to take some Dark Frames before, during, or after an imaging run so the dark frame would be injected into the stack as it is being done?

I haven't run across anyone actually using dark frames with their Infinity. But I'm not very knowledgeable about this either.
