Title: Shutter problem Atik 383L again
Post by: Mirandola on November 25, 2012, 08:08:35 pm
Two days ago I received my first CCD - ATIK 383L. That's what I saw testing it:(http://www.astromaniak.pl/download/file.php?id=28581&mode=view/2012-11-25%2015.06.16.jpg)
Sometimes I see shutter closing no more the 1/4 of chip size and sometimes when I make en exposure I see that it shadows the corner of CCD's chip. Should I return it or there is an easy way to repair it by myself.

If it is brand new and that is how I received it I would send it back and ask for a new one.

I sent mine back because of this. One told me that this was an illness of the first cameras and that it has been solved in the current batches...

Atik; with their awesome customer service did the exchange in just 10 days!
