I made my own adapter to go from Sony A-mount lenses to the Mono Infinity and find it works quite well. Here is M13 as an example.

And here is the Coma Star Cluster (Mel 111)

Same Mel 111 image without the labels.

Hello, Jim,
very nice pictures you show.
Since a few days I own a ZWO-Nikon-T2-Adapter, with which I want to test my Nikkor 180mm, f/1.8 on the Infinity.
At the moment I'm still looking for a solution how to mount Infinity and Nikkor on the Meade LX200. How did you solve the problem?
Do you have a specific workflow to get the most out of the mono images?
Unfortunately my English is not perfect because it is not my native language.
Greetings from Germany

Very nice images Jim,
Can I ask what mount you used if you used guiding, and what were the local conditions like? I have a Canon f2.8 @ 200mm and 30 seconds is enough if the seeing is clear enough but Rokinon / Samyang are quite cheap and the results exceptional!
Cheers

The Samyang/Rokinon 135mm f/2 lens is excellent for astrophotography; good stars across even a full frame sensor.
