Most Atik Cameras use a T thread so you need an adaptor with a male T thread on one end and a female 42mm camera lens thread on the other.  I don't know where you could get one but a search should find this.  The camera 42mm to T adapter will be more easily available than the lens adaptor but have the wrong gender.

There is more to it than just connecting though, the spacing needs to be correct to get the lens to focus. You will need to get spacers to set the distance correctly.

BTW AIUI the T thread is 42mm diameter but a different thread pitch to the camera 42 mm.  It might screw on a bit but then jam, possibly damaging the thread on the camera - not  good idea.

Here is an adapter that will do the M42 to T-42 conversion.  It is necessary to add some M42 spacer too.  I forgot exactly how much.  I have several sizes and pick the one I need.

By the way, for anyone interested, I made a homemade adapter that allows Sony A-Mount lenses to be adapted to the Atik Infinity.  I am using the Rokinon/Samyang lenses and they are far better than any M42 lenses I have tried.  I have the 14mm f2.8, 24mm F1.4 and 85mm f1.4.  They work great for wider angle lenses.

I had purchased this M42 spacer set on eBay and one of these gave me the correct distance.
