Frosting
« on: September 16, 2016, 12:38:52 pm »
hi, I,ve just received one of the last 383L+ OSC, One of the problems i'm having with it is frosting. After taking advice I removed the plug and put it in the boiler room for 48hrs, then I replaced the tablets with new ones. When I tested it again, @-20, the frosting was still there but it gradually disappeared over a period of  15mins, is this normal or is 48hrs in a boiler room not long enough?

Hi there, sorry to hear your having problems with this, and that's not normal for a new camera! It's usually good practice to still bake the tablets, even if they're fresh out the packet, so it might be worth repeating the process with some freshly baked ones. As your camera's new, I would also drop support@atik-cameras.com an email just to be on the safe side.

Let me know how you get on,
Jo
