LRGBHa exposure time ratios
« on: March 25, 2017, 01:22:23 am »
Hello,
If I'm in the right section for discussion, I am hoping someone with experience can help me with establishing good starting point for exposure time ratios for my Atik One 9.0 using Astronomik LRGBHa 1.25" filters.  I am too lazy so far to try the star test, even though I've been reading it's not too difficult to accomplish.  I am having a heck of a time getting star colors to a natural look.  Best results so far have come from 1:1:1, but I'm sure there is a better starting point.  Thanks for any feedback.  Here's a so so effort with the cone nebula before I purchased my new Ha filter.
Happy star hunting to all..

Good night..I'll check tomorrow and see what I've ginned up with this most respectful request...
