M64
« on: May 23, 2017, 08:41:50 pm »
Took this one on a great night about three nights ago.  Decided to let AstroArt DDP work it eventually.  I find M64 to be one of the more "cartoony" in my experience, but appreciate its beauty.  If I go after this one again with seriousness, I think I will go shorter exposures x about 100.  Took 8x RGB's.  Feedback PLEASE...  Still want to know how to get star color boosted.
thx

Hi Charles . . .  great image .. . I only caught this one for the first time a few weeks ago, and you are right it does look cartoony . . . unreal some how. Easy as well . .. . the features were very apparent after just a few frames of stacking with my Infinity.
PS Have you ever tried M109 ...  I struggle to get decent pic of that !

Cheers Dave
