Dusk and QHY5 guide camera

Does anybody know why the QHY5 camera does not show up in the Dusk guide camera chooser? I have the Ascom drivers loaded and it works in PHD ok.

Hello,

Sorry to say we can't support other manufactures cameras so only Atik cameras will work with Atik software.

Best regards

Hello all-

Wanted to revisit this topic to see if there are any new developments concerning using a non-Atik ASCOM guide camera with the Dusk program? Vince posted last year that Dusk will only work with Atik cameras but the latest manual seems to imply a chooser menu appears under the guide telescope section. However, don't see the option to use an Orion SSAG, the ASCOM driver and latest platform are loaded and work fine in SharpCap.

So, has anyone had any experience making it work?

Hi

I am also hoping that the issue with non-Atik guide scopes has been addressed now?

Thanks

Chris

Hello Chris,

I'm sorry to say that ASCOM support hasn't been added to Dusk.

Best regards
