Title: SH2-112
Post by: PAB64 on July 14, 2014, 06:43:46 am
Here is an image of SH2-112, taken last night/this morning on 2014 July 12.
Skies were clear, but with a bright Moon low in the west.

SH2-112 is 1.5 deg NNW of Deneb. It is an H II region, circular with apparent size of about 15'
I used my Megrez EDII 80 Triplet with Baader 7nm Ha filter and Atik 428EX. I used flats but I didn't use any dark frames.

SH2-112 is in an area of sky rich in nebulosity, and I have tried to retain some of the background cirrus during processing.

Processed in Startools stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, and tweaked in CS2
