l am looking for a 460ex color and a have some questions

Actualy, l use a canon t2i unfiltered.

My questions are:
1 is the 460ex will be better than my t2i
2 what are the  the Quantum Efficiency.

While the answer is subjective, I believe the answer is YES!

2 what are the  the Quantum Efficiency.

I believe it is 77% at the peak.  This is from the Starlight Xpress website for the H694C which uses the same Sony sensor:

Very high sensitivity - 77% QE at peak of response in yellow light, 65% at Hydrogen alpha line (656 nM).
