Title: atik 420 and nebulosity4!!!
Post by: milanpapukush10 on July 16, 2019, 12:40:57 pm
I have an Atik 420 and use Nebulosity4 to capture images.  If I use Frame & Focus then switch to capturing images, I get a terrible amp glow in the upper third of the frame.  If I physically disconnect and reconnect the camera, the amp glow goes away.
Is there any way to get rid of the amp glow without unplugging the camera?

Hello,

We have seen this before, the Nebulosity focus routine activates the "pre" function when it is used but doesn't turn it back off when you start to take a long exposure. The "pre" function should not be enabled when taking long exposures as this will cause the amp glow that you are seeing. I believe we have informed them of this bug with Nebulosity. Restarting the camera after focusing is the easiest course of action until this is fixed.

Best regards
