Post by: patthehorse on June 09, 2016, 12:32:20 am
This interacting pair are 165 million light years away. Not any total darkness at the moment, but at least blobby was absent from the sky.
RGB 24:24:24x300s 6hrs total over two nights 5th and 6th June. Extracted a Luminance and blended it back into the image for the LRGB version This has a slight crop.
Atik 314L+, Sw200p, SW AZ EQ6_GT. Processed in PI.

Blobby  ;D

Great shot though, not a subject we see round here very much, and looks like there's some interesting faint fuzzies lurking about too, good stuff!
