Title: 50 Bias
Post by: GH-ATIK on February 21, 2014, 06:50:41 pm
Hi ,
Today I produced 50 bias with 383L+ at -15°C with 13,5 V.

The last bias was completed , after that, the an electronical part overheated and the camera is damaged.

The camera should withstand this procedure , or is it to much ?

are 13,5V in workspace?

I think ,  I must wait 3-4 month for repairing.

knows anybody this part ?

I suggest you contact Atik support to see what they may be able to do..  Support@Atik-Cameras.com

I say this because I use a Pyramid 13.8v 5amp regulated power supply with no issues.

I use a Maplins 13.8V 7A power supply and also not had an issue. The 383L needs a PSU to supply at least 2.5A (according to the manual).

When I stepped on the USB cable and destroyed the USB socket in the 383L, it was fixed and back in my hands in a day turn around..

Thanks ,
I used a power-supply with 7A and adjustable voltage from 11 to 15 V.
In use, I adjusted 13,5V.

Why on earth not contact Atik support?   They are the only people who can help. We can't help you.

The only reason I can think of getting this fixed by Atik taking three months is if you wait a couple of months before contacting them.
