Title: No Video Mode
Post by: jcj2249 on August 24, 2016, 10:01:05 am
I just received my Infinity camera yesterday but the only thing I could do is to use the Finder Mode (when I was lucky).
In the software Infinity (Finder Mode selected), most of the time the Progress Bar fills up only once then stops.
The Play arrow turns grey and inactive - though the Camera Connection Status indicates "Infinity".
The "USB Device 20e7:df3f" (what a nice name !) is still connected to my computer (Windows 10).
Some times, the Progress Bar keeps repeatedly filling. I activate then the Video Mode : The Progress Bar fills up once, stops and the Play arrow turns grey.
I am running Windows 10 under virtualization on a MacBook Pro.
I could not make my camera run on the PC of a friend.
I must do something wrong.
Any idea ?

Hello,

The infinity camera software has be developed under native Windows.  We Have have checked and find it also works using Windows though parallels on a Mac but we can't support virtualisation software as there are just too many variables.

If you are able to use boot camp to run a native version of Windows on the Mac or if you have a PC we would be happy to work with you to get you running.
