383 And 1.25 Filter Wheel
« on: July 05, 2012, 06:00:51 pm »
Hello,
The 383 with 1.25 filters will work down to f5 per Atik spec. Faster f stop will require flattener per Atik spec. I have the William Optics FLT98 with their Flattener 4. This will give me a 490mm focal length at f4.8. Will this work?

How do I keep the sensor glass from fogging on the outside and inside?

Does this camera have a full frame image buffer?

Good day
Manuel

The 1.25" may give you a bit of vignetting, maybe. I thought about that a while back and decided to get the 36mm filters
and not worry about it. While maybe a bit more expensive in the beginning it will be one less thing to worry about
if I should change my setup.
As for fogging, your camera should not fog if the dessicant is working correctly.
The camera does have a memory buffer.
Clear Skies!!
