M51 The Whirlpool Galaxy

Hi Everybody!

Looks like this forum is ready for a kickstart after one too many spam posts. For those that are new here, don't be discouraged! There are lots of members that are happy to help with questions or suggestions that you may have. Thought I'd post a short stack of the Whirlpool taken at near zenith here in Michigan last evening. Horizon OSC with an IR/UV cut filter through a 70mm refractor on a iOptron CEM40EC mount. 60x2 minute subframes, unguided. Hope to add some Ha data before she spins out of my line of sight here this year.

Cheers!
Craig
