Title: OverVoltage Atik 383L
Post by: RQKimball on January 17, 2015, 03:33:27 am
I accidentally powered up my Atik 383L with 20 volts.  Fried the PCB (printed circuit board) and the fan.  Sent the camera to England for repair.  Very pleased with the service I received and the prompt communication.  Still a $400 mistake I'll try to avoid in the future.

Ouch!

I stepped on my USB cable and broke the USB socket - sent the camera in and got the fixed camera back the next day - helped feeling sorry for myself that night!
