Taken the other night, average city sky..freezing mist..
Still managed 2 hours on the crab ( 16 x 450 seconds ) master bias, no flats or darks.
Thanks for looking...

A nice image! I do believe there is a bit more nebulosity hidden in the darkness but I wouldn't complain too much with the conditions you mention...
What scope did you use?

Hi, APM 107 f/6.5 with a tele vue 0.8x reducer, the sky was grotty ;)

I did have to look up
grotty [ˈgrɒtɪ]
adj -tier, -tiest Brit slang
1. unpleasant, nasty, or unattractive
2. of poor quality or in bad condition; unsatisfactory or useless
Yupp, I've had skies like that... :)

Hi Guy,
I think that there is more data behind your nice Crab than it actually shows...
Perhaps go easyier with the stretching, doing this would clip less data and show more reflections...
