I will be in need of a portable power supply for the camera and EFW2. I'd like something I can travel with (airplane) that doesn't weigh a ton. Does anyone know what the power draw is for this setup? Can anyone recommend a power solution that doesn't require lugging a large (e.g. 18AH) battery? Thanks

I've measured the 383L+ as taking about 2A at 12V with the cooler on. This means that in theory an18Ah battery will run it for 9 hours, but should be used for less because batteries don't cope will with being fully discharged. I don't know about the filter wheel but it probably isn't much.
Lithium batteries are lighter, but at a cost and airlines are nervous about flying with them. I don't know how they feel about sealed lead acid batteries.
The 7Ah SLA should give you 2 to 3 hours, will that be long enough for what you need?
BTW the 383L+ manual says 2.5A so I may be being optimistic.
