Title: Power Supply. is 13.5v lead acid OK?

I have a 428ex. I aim to run it off 12V as the manual says,  but the car battery is 13-14V  (nominally 12V).  Is this OK (no damage)?

All batteries are over 12 v , (mine included). It deliveres 12v ,though. U can check it with a polymeter.
