Title: EFW2 64Bit Driver

Simple question: is there a 64bit driver for the EFW2 to run in Windows 7? I just received the 383L+/EFW2 combo package and the supplied software only contains a 32bit driver for the filter wheel. If there is a 64bit driver where can I get it?

MaximDL has native support for ATIK FW or use ASCOM ?

Problem with 64bits ASCOM drivers is that it requires a 64bits client (and i'm not sure MaximDL run as a true 64bits application).

Hi, i had the same problem!
I run maxim dl under win7 64 bit, i switched to AA5 and now everything is fine although the soft is not as complete as mdl...
Under Xp everthing was fine!

I have read something like that Maxim is quiet well able to function in a 64 bit environment,
Don't know what to think about, at least i encountered several hangers after my swith to 64bits?

Hello,

The EFW2 does not need a windows driver as it uses the standard, built in, HID interface.   This works under 32 and 64 bit OS.

Just a quick update, after chatting with another forum member I was finally able to get Maxim to recognize my EFW2 through
Ascom but only after reloading the software taken off the Atik site - not from the cd disk.

Hi,

Mine is working fine also under MDL5 and ASCOM..
The only that is strange, sometimes it happens that I have got to restart my Laptop because the EFW2 can not be found in Maxim DL..
This is really annoying, does someone know what this could be?
