Hi
I want to know how much is the distance on the face of the filter wheel from the center of the filter whole to the border of the EFW2 (the opposite to the USB socket).
I ask this because I use a Microtouch focuser on a C6 SCT and there's little room to fit the filter wheel. There are just 40 mm.
Finally, can the EFW2 be placed at any angle (0° to 360°) to the camera?
Thanks for your help

Alfredo,
EFW2 can be placed at any angle (0° to 360°) to the camera; comes with Allen wrench to adjust and tighten this setting.
I'd measure the diameter BUT it is in my observatory and I don't have access at the moment.

Hi
It's very good to hear that the EFW2 can be set to any angle to the camera.
Do you know if there is a link to the drawing? I couldn't find it at the web site.
Best regards

Alfredo,
Dimensions attached as measured last night.

Hi
I don't know your name, but I do want to say thank you. This image is very helpful.
I have another question: in the image the distance from the center of the hole to the border of the EFW2 is 1.25" , but that should be the size of the smallest filter. So, my question is: what is the real distance from the center of the hole to the border of the EFW2?
Thank you again!
Best regards

Center of hole to outside edge of wheel housing is 1-1/4". It would just allow a 2" filter to fit w/ ~1/4" of extra space. Any size filter would be centered in the hole. The hole size on one side is 42mm and on the other is 54mm.

Oh I see. Sorry for my mistake. 1.25" is the radius, not the diameter of the whole.
I'm really sorry. Sometimes the simplest things are just missed
Thank you very much for your help

The radius of the large hole is 27mm. It is 1.25" (31.75mm) from the center of the hole to the outer edge of the filter wheel housing.

That's what I meant. Thanks for clarifying it.

Alfredo,
Back to the original question. Will it work with your scope??

Hi bwa
Yes, it will work with my scope because the wheel will take just about 32 mm from the center of the optical axis and there are about 40 mm available in my scope.
You've been very helpful
