I still have a lot of tweaking.. and cover to finish.. but the skeleton is finally put together..

Here's a CF bulb as a test source.. with a 383L providing the imaging:

It's performance is measured, 0.9A R=6410, dispersion 0.1A/pixel. The final phase one design should increase this performance to (theoretically) 0.67A, R=8611.

I'm using a 383L here, where the 5.4um pixels and the wide sensor give a good spectrum.

Here's the two Hg lines at 20A separation:
