I noticed some strange behavior in the dark current of my new ATIK 11000. The values in each pixel rise linearly with time, at first, but then stop and decrease, before eventually increasing linearly again -- but at a much lower rate.
I wrote a report, with some numbers and graphs illustrating the behavior:

If anyone can explain this, please post your explanation. I'd love to understand it.

ATIK 11000 uses different readout scheme for short exposures than for long. This is visible that also amp glow is present for e.g. 1sec exposures, while it disappears for longer ones. That is why the increase of dark current in shorter exposures will be much larger (due to e.g. amp glow), which is exactly what you observe.
