Hello Community,
I have read about the different problems with Artemis beginners, I start just a try.
Previw Picture is ok, everythings seems to work alright, but the saved picture is only grey without any
Information, and after a few shots, the preview shows only complete white Pictures and the saved ones are still grey.
What's wrong ? Thanks for Help.

Hi there,
Do I take it you're using a one-shot colour camera? Artemis Capture only saves the raw data that comes out the camera, so you will have to use another program to save a debayered colour version of the image. You can use Dawn for this, or other third-party programs.
I hope that helps, let me know how you get on!

Hi, I use a monochrome Titan, and I tried open pics with Dawn, but Dawn could not open the Capture pics at all, however I tried. I use Fits Liberator too, but it shows only grey pictures. The same result as using Artemis.
But I look foreward.

Hi Steve,
That takes me realy wonder, I should try again several times.
Are there stars to see ?
-
HI,
I could not see any stars. Were you able to focus the camera?

Hi again,
the Situation now is, I can open the files with dawn, I used the wrong Settings at the first time, and I can open with Artemis,
Needs a Little correction at the White and black Level, saved then with the new Option and everything Looks alright.
The Stars shown in the pics are approximately in good shape, Needs a few correction with the Focus, thats all, the next time.
This Thing Looks like it is done, thank you for your Replies, and clear skies,
best regards, Dietmar
