Title: Atik 16C dead camera

Help!

 I have a 16C and it appears to have died last night, right in the middle of an imaging session.

Things I've tried:  1) different USB cable, 2) different laptop, 3) reinstallation of software from the CD.

When plugged in, the fan will run, but the computer(s) will not find the camera when the cable is plugged into the USB port(s). Also, the drivers are not in devise manager. It's as if the camera was never installed on the laptop. I tried using the CD to reinstall the camera, but I don't even get a "found new hardware" message on either laptop, so it appears the camera is dead.

Who do I contact to see if the camera is reparable?

Try to find what is the issue behind it and try to check out the user manual and still if the problem persists then replace it with new one...

I would probably suggest taking the back off and looking for anything obvious like water corrosion or a spider or something.

I would also suggest trying a different power supply if you have one.
