Title: Atik Infinity Focal Reduction
Post by: seahawkpr on January 14, 2018, 01:20:27 pm
Hi,
I'm using Atik Infinity with Celestron f/6.3 reducer, T-adapter (50mm), 40mm spacer, and Infinity to achieve f/6.3 with a Celestron 8" SCT.
I want a faster system and was considering combining reducers (6.3 + 6.3, or 6.3 + 5) or purchasing optec maxfield 3.3.  No budget for hyperstar.
Does anyone have good success with any of these options?  What would be the recommended spacing and location for the reducers combination?
Thanks
