Title: A night with Infinity and ALT/AZ mount
Post by: nikhilkgomes on September 21, 2018, 10:51:35 am
Hi All.....
I have been working on a project for a year now..I might be done!
I wantted to advance the EAA/Video to a simple and Hi quality
level. And it had to be SIMPLE to do...I think I made my goals.

This setup is a VERY easy to use..ALT/AZ mount-no guiding
Small quality AT80EDT refractor, auto align Evolution mount.
AND all the software used is the infinity software,no Photo shop.
no touch ups,not even contrast or brightness..
Right out of the included camera software..
And the Package can be picked up and moved all in about 30lbs..
I did this Friday night, they are from 14 to 60 second exposures stacked and done in Atik Infinity software..
I hope to set a simple quality easy to use example.
 Thanks

Hi Bob!

Congrats on your set-up. I'm in total agreement with your statement that the Infinity package fits the simple, quality and easy to use goals.I spent a number of years with a SBIG CCD camera...great final images, most of the time, but hated all of the post-processing time. Life is short and the images that I get with the Infinity...and multiple images at that in one observing session...are very satisfying! EAA will play a huge role in our hobby as time goes on. I've been posting some of my work on Astrobin to show what we can do with our branch of the hobby.

Did you mean to attach any of your images to your post or am I just missing them? Thanks...Craig
