Post by: dpaul on October 02, 2018, 09:46:50 pm
Attached was taken with Atik Horizon Mono camera with LRGB frames of 15 seconds each (2x2 binning).
Scope is 30'' F3.5 Dob on unguided equatorial platform, with Paracorr type II coma corrector.
All processing done in Pixinsight.

Hi David!

Finally got some decent weather here to give M1 a try. Can't match what you did with your Horizon but still having fun with the Infinity OSC. 90 subs at 15 seconds with a little post-processing in Windows 10.

Very nice result!  I can almost see that rotating Neutron star in the center.

Thanks Vince,

I think its can be done even better with additional frames and perhaps a lower gain setting.
Must try this again when the weather lets me!

Thanks
