Just started doing Astrophotography with the Atik Horizon OSC. I was doing video astronomy with the Horizon for the past 10 months. I'm liking the results so far. The following are all narrowband captures with the STC Duo-Narrowband (Ha, OIII) filter on my EdgeHD 9.25" w/Hyperstar. Still learning about processing in PixInsight, so they're not perfect. All taken from a dark site in the Sierra Nevada Mountains at 5,200ft elevation (roughly a bortle 3-3.5 zone). There was some light smoke in the air during the Crescent and NA captures.

Great Results Phil,
I have both the OSC and the Mono version - With the mono version its incredibably more sensitive so worth a try too!

Yeah, that's the beauty of mono. I do plan on going down that road at some point. I primarily image using Hyperstar, so I'll need to get the hyperstar filter slider adapter. Unfortunately, I can't use a filter wheel with this setup. That would make things too easy.

Beautiful pictures Phil!
For a while I'm thinking about taking an Atik Horizon-Mono;)
