Title: Trifid and Lagoon Nebulas
Post by: CraigG on June 08, 2019, 01:54:53 pm
Posting my first wide angle image from my Stellarvue SV70T and Horizon OSC combo. Less than 8 minutes of light frames only. 1X1 binning with 15 second subs. Light post-processing in Nebulosity. Easy peasy acquisition that I really appreciate when imaging during our extended twilight hours in the high summer months here at the 45th parallel!

Hi Craig,

Excellent image! Way too low for me in Norfolk UK!

Ha ha! Yeah, it's only about 15 deg high here but the Horizon has no problem cutting through the extra atmosphere. Thanks for your part in making images like these possible Vince!
