Title: Autoguiding with Dusk + SBIG ST-i

Does anyone know how I can use my SBIG ST-i guide camera in Dusk? I click the drop down for the guide camera but nothing show up...

Hello,

Dusk will only work with Atik made cameras.

Hi Vince, thanks for the reply. I don't suppose there is a way to use PHD2 with Dusk is there?

Hi,

Yes, there no problem using PHD2 with Dusk, just connect the guide camera to PHD2 and select no camera in Dusk for guide camera.

Hi Vince, I was actually talking about being able to use Dusk the talk to PHD2 for dithering. Any way of doing that? Also, do you know if there are any plans to make Dusk ASCOM compatible for the guiding camera? That we people could use the Dusk software to guide even if they don't have an Atik guide camera.

Hi,

Dusk doesn't support dithering at the moment I'm sorry to say, this is planned for the future. I will suggest making the guide camera ASCOM compatible.
