Title: Crescent Nebula
Post by: vince on July 05, 2019, 11:44:40 am
Hi all,

Wednesday night from the Atik observatory in deepest Norfolk UK I managed to get a few hours data on the Crescent Nebula. The was using the Takahashi CCA250, Atik 16200 mono camera binned 2x2 and Atik brand narrow band filters. It's worked out better than I was hoping for imaging at this time of the year :)

Thanks
Vince :)

Beautiful Vince. What was your approximate total integration time with the filters?

Hi Craig,

This was made up from 12 300 second subs with Ha, O3, s2 filters, calibrated in MaximDL, and processed in PS.

Best regards
Vince

Hi Vince

Attached is my image of NGC 6888 from June, 2018. This was using Atik Horizon (mono) and narrowband filters on my 30'' scope.
Exposures were only 15-20 seconds.

Regards

Dave

Hello David,

That's a very nice Crescent, I remember it from last year :)
