Title: Totally a newbie.
Post by: jamun99 on September 13, 2019, 11:18:17 am
Just getting into Astrophotography, and this is my first setup. Just wanted to see what you guys think, and if you have any tips or suggestions. Looking to eventually getting into imaging DSOs.
driving distance (https://check-distance.com/)
Telescope: Orion EON 115m. 805mm focal length at f/7.

Mount: Skywatcher EQ6-R Pro

Camera: Canon Rebel 7i.

Also will be adding the Orion Autoguiding package , which is currently on back order.

What would be some good objects to start out with at this time of the year? If the clear skie holds up I was hoping to take it out to get a picture of the moon tonight.

First of all, welcome to the forum!
In order to get some good recommendations on what to image this time of year, please let us know what part of the world you are observing from?

Thanks!
