Title: A quick M42 using an Atik ACIS 7.1 CMOS camera

Hi all,

I had the opportunity to try out our new CMOS camera the other week, this is a quick M42 / M43 taken using a Takahashi FSQ106, Atik LRGB filters and the ACIS 7.1, 30 - 2 minute per filter were taken, the Moon was around and the sky was slightly misty.

Nice Vince!  I'm impressed with the amount of cloud detail between the two DSOs considering your sky conditions.

This was the first I've heard about the new ACIS 7.1 camera..looks very promising! Thanks for sharing.
