Post by: Max on December 30, 2011, 10:43:04 pm
Hi all

Here it is: The first light with the ATIK 383L+.
Big problem was the dew. Ice on the main mirror...

Lights
2011-12-27 L R G B (1x1)
L:     8 x 10min / Master: NGC891_002LUM.fit
R:    8 x 10min / Master: NGC891_002RED.fit
G:    8 x 10min / Master: NGC891_001GREEN.fit
B:    8 x 10min / Master: NGC891_001BLUE.fit
Sum:     32 x 10min = 320min -> 5h 20min

Flats (10x)

DataRejection
STD sigma reject: 2.0

Version:
v0 -> Mean
v1 -> Mean_Align
v2 -> Mean_Align_Decon-10-4-8-1x50
v3 -> Mean_Align_Decon-10-4-8-1x50_Align

Setup:
Master: NGC891_002LUM.fit
EQ-6
GSO-RC8 + AP0.67(85.5+16)mm->f5,3 + Atik OAG + Lodstar +  Atik-EFW2-1 + Atik383L+
CCD: -30°C
focus with Bahtinov mask
Integration time: 0,5s
Seeing: very good / good
temp: -4°C / -8°C
SQM: 21.3 / 22.3 (dew?)
Dew: very bad, ice on the main mirror

Wheel:
1) LUm
2) R
3) G
4) B
5) Ha7nm
6) SII8nm
7) OIII8,5nm
8) Hb8,5nm
9) ClearGlas

Workflow in CCDStack (fast work flow for first light):
calibrate (darks, flats, biases)
reject hot/cold pixels: 1 / 70000
interpolate rejected pixels: 1 / 2
Registration
Normalization: Both
Data Reject: STD sigma reject 2,0
combine: Mean
Deconvolve 10-4-8 1x50
color
DDP and back ground adjustment with the sliders
Thats all (Fast work flow for first light)

ToDo
Better collimation for RC8 or go to f6
Adjust the prism of the OAG (extra spike...)

Thanks
Max
