Title: How to properly use infinity ?
Post by: Michel on July 20, 2020, 10:11:47 pm
Good morning all,
I use Infinty with an Atik Horizon camera in a very basic way, simply stacking a series of images after waiting for the camera temperature to stabilize at a fairly low temperature.
Is the use of darks, offsets or flats recommended? If so, how should we make them and use them.
Thank you,
Michel

Hello Michel,

The infinity software doesn't use any calibrations files, it has it's own warm pixel removal routine.

Hope this helps.

Best regards
Vince

Thank you for this answer which corresponds to what I understood, but I was not sure.
