Title: Horsehead from last night.
Post by: mickhyde on March 18, 2013, 03:42:07 pm
Hello all, newbie alert. Here's one I did last night. This is my third image from getting the camera the other week. Very pleased with the camera and software so far. Seems a lot easier to process than DSLR.

Thanks for looking.
Mick.

Colors are a bit weird for my taste BUT a nice image nonetheless!

Thank you. Struggling to get all the colour data in last night. Need to get some more tonight maybe.

Cheers,
Mick.

Hi Mick,

You are on the good way to create even more beautiful images!
I agree with bwa that the RGB channel levels are not equalised, IMO the green touch of the image gives a strange overall colouring. I do not know what processing soft you are using but there are a lot like PixIsight's SCNR to remove green in average, for instance.
Doing this; i bet, that the result will be way better!!

Many thanks for your comments.
My main problem with the image is the colour, but I think this is due to the lack of subs.
The image was processed in DSS and combined in CS4. Using Noel's tools, finished in Lightroom.

Cheers,
Mick.
