Hi,
I currently have a William Optics FLT-132 scope (132 mm aperture, f/7) and I'm considering getting the following for it:
* Atik 383L+ Mono camera
* Atik Electronic Filter Wheel 2 with 9 position, 1.25" carousel
* Astrodon Tru-Balance Gen 2 E-Series 1.25" LRGB filter set
* Astrodon 5 nm H-alpha 1.25" filter, or 3nm H-alpha + 3nm NII
* Astrodon 3 nm OIII 1.25" filter
* Astrodon 3 nm SII 1.25" filter
* Geoptik Canon EOS lens -> T2 adapter
Does anyone know if there will be a problem with this configuration? I've checked the back focus specifications and it looks like my Canon EOS lenses should work with the 383L+ via the Geoptik adapter.
Thanks!
Cheers,
Dave

Hmm actually it looks like the 383L+ plus EFW2 exceeds the back focus of Canon EOS lenses, so I'll have to find something else.

you can get SXFW with 36mm disk:
http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p4603_Starlight-Xpress-Filterrad-Einsatz-fuer-7x---36-mm-ungefa-te-Filt.html
this is link just to the replacement disk, but you can get the complete FW with this disk too:
http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p4755_Starlight-Xpress-mot--USB-Filterrad-fuer-7x36mm-ung--Filter---T2.html
the 31mm filters are still compromise. 36mm works even for F/3.6 or so :-) maybe more w/o vignetting depending on your chip size...

OK, so you want to use it with Canon EOS lenses? then sorry, there's no commercially available thing that would couple mono CCD with filters and EOS lens. I have myself a special unit build on a custom design so as I can do this. The Geoptik adapter is great, but tooo thick and doesn't allow for filters (my version has filter drawer inside).
good luck.
