This may be useful to somebody....it is how I have my ATIK 460Ex attached to my Takahashi FSQ106ED Scope. Tak adapters are quite expensive so I went a different route.....reducing to Telescope Service M48 fittings (to reach the required back focus distance at the CCD) and then back up M54 to attach to the ATIK Filter wheel. No problems - all works good.
