ATIK 314L not showing images

HI ,

I purchased a 314L+  secondhand - at cost of £800 .. only had it 2 weeks. First time I used it it gave stunning images of M102. Last night I attempted to image Mars .. and it was all distorted.

Tried to image a bright star and got now raw images . The camera is working with the Artemis software , as I can set temperature and enable/ disable the camera. Even control the looping of images and exposure time.

There is just no image displayed on the PC .

I don't know how the camera could have broken , as its not been moved in last week. was attached to my telescope .. in a permanent observatory.

I tried to email Atik to see if it can be returned for checking out , but the emails bounced back.

Can anyone help - anyone seen this weird behaviour before.. and how to contact ATIK ?

Make sure that the black and white levels are set to auto.  If they are fixed the display may be saturated black.  You should be able to see noise on a dark frame.
