Adding a luminance channel

Is there anyway in the post processing stage to add luminance data?  I've never done OSC, but it'd be nice if could snap a few luminance frames with my Lodestar and add them to the mix.

My Titan OSC arrives tomorrow..

Hmm - should be straight forward to take each camera and align. Tools such as PI can do this with the resolution differences etc but often it means breaking into RGB, processing and realigning.
