I seem to have an inordinate number (100's) of hot pixels on my ATIK 450 mono camera. It is impossible to process anything without darks being subtracted. Is this normal for this camera??

What power supply are you using? The 383L I have gives less noise with a 13.8V regulated PSU compared to a 12V supply from battery.
