Atik One 6.0 power supply issue
« on: April 29, 2016, 10:02:35 AM »
Hi all
I have just received my brand new Atik one camera 6.0. I have been checking it and making sure I understand how it works before attempting to start using it. I note the connection panel has 2 points, 1 at each end, labelled 12vDC. In the instructions it shows the same 2 points but one is labelled DC in and the other Aux Power. Now I am guessing that I could just assume that the pic in the manual is correct, but do not want to cause a power issue with a camera first day.
Am I correct in my assumption that the power in socket is in the postion shown in the manual?

Cheers

Hi Malcolm

I plug mine into the plug closest the USB type B connector, which is the same as what is depicted in the user manual.

Hi both,

You can actually plug the camera into either and use the other as an auxiliary supply to power an additional piece of equipment, like a guide camera.

I can completely see the confusion though, I'll see if we can make the manual a little clearer.

Best,
Jo
