Version Numbers for Core Software

On the Atik forums or on forums of 3rd party software vendors we often read of some issue and users referring to the "latest version" of the core software. With this information it is difficult to relate the issue to one's own software installation without booting up the camera and/or filter wheel.

I think it would be nice to have version numbers on the download page and also in the name of  the zip file. Having release notes would also help the user decide if they should update their installation.
 
Could we please have version numbering?

Hi Ajay,

Thanks for the suggestion. I've included the software version on the website, and on the zip file (you can always find out the version number of the installer itself by 'right click -> properties -> details). As for change logs / releases note, this is something we have been thinking about and will include on the website soon.
