48mm thread on EFW2 nosepiece?

Hello,

I am looking to buy a new imaging setup, which includes an EFW2 with 1.25" filter wheel.
As I also need a light pollution filter in front of my LRGB filters, I wonder if the 2" nosepiece has a 48mm thread, that i could permanently put a LPS filter in?

Hello,

The nosepiece does have a 48mm thread so you could put a light pollution filter in if you wanted to, though we haven't found it actually makes much improvement, particularly not with the RGB filters - but the option's there

Not sure if it will help you but I use Pegasus Astro Motorized Focuser and you can check options there: maybe they'll be useful for your cases.
