For this image, I decided to use a 200mm f4 Asahi Pentax Takumar SMC lens, an old m42 type lens.  I had made my own adapter to mount Sony A-mount lenses onto the Infinity and for this m42 lens, used a couple dollar m42 to A-mount adapter,

This shot is a stack of 3 60 sec images for a total of 180 sec. 

There are two fuzzy objects near the center of this image.  Comet Johnson is the lower and to the right of center fuzzy object.  According to StarryNight, it should be about mag 7.0.  Above and to the left of Johnson is a fuzzy star.  StarryNight identifies it as RT Boo where Boo is for Bootes.  And it is a variable star for which the magnitude ranges from 8.3 to 13.9.  Obviously, it is near the 8.3 end of its range right now.  Also, StarryNight says the apparent size is 14 arcminutes, which explains the size of this fuzzy object.

I have a number of manual camera lenses including Rokinon/Samyang as well as m42 lenses, and they are working well with the Infinity camera.

I like it..  haven't done any comets myself...life is so short...got to get busy.

Thank you.  That was my first comet also.  Found out that I could enter RA-Dec coordinates into my Celestron mount and go to these objects.  Intend to do more of this and to switch to a larger scope for more light.  Been having fun with lots of different lenses with the Infinity.
