Ati 420 Focuser Mounting
« on: October 12, 2012, 11:03:36 PM »
Looking at Quick Start PDF, says "put camera in focuser".

How?

Is there a nose piece provided with the camera, e.g. for 1.25" or 2" focusers.

My Atik 460EX came with 1.25" nosepiece to T-Thread adapter. I believe all of the 400 series camera comes with 1.25" nosepiece. Atik calls it 1.25'' adapter.

There are two ways to attach camera to telescope:

1) Use 1.25" adapter and insert it in 1.25" drawtube of focuser
2) Remove 1.25" adapter and use T-Thread connection.
