Atik EFW2 Filter Wheel and Ascom 6 sp1

Hi group,

Installation for the above filter wheel requires Ascom Platform 5.5 for it to work with 3rd party software (Images Plus in my case).  It looks like the only version from Ascom's web site is Platform 6 sp1.

Will the filter wheel operate properly with Platform 6 sp1?

The reply you got on the ASCOM site - to follow the instructions in the FAQ  http://ascom-standards.org/FAQs/Platform5.5only.htm should get the installation done.

There's no reason to suppose that the filter wheel won't work with ASCOM platform 6.

The installer can easily be fixed to avoid this, it was a bug in the installer generator that was fixed when Platform 6 was released, that's up to Atik.

My EFW2 works fine with Ascom 6SP1 using SkyX.

my EFW2 does work perfectly ASCOM platform 6 under VmWare fusion XP Astroart 5 on a MacBook Pro.

Is there a driver for the EFW2 filter wheel?  I do not see one in the drivers section.

There is a driver on the CD otherwise you also can find it on the ATIK website..
